about

In 1999, The Uneven was formed - a quartet of high school students in Pensacola who played countless shows all around the gulf coast. That year they would go into the studio to record an album of original material called Bush Hog. The recording process was less than ideal and the product sounded less like a studio quality album, and more like it was produced in a makeshift sound booth in the back of a gas station in Flomaton, AL...because that's exactly what happened. Now, almost 20 years later, original members Mark Grundhoefer and Jamie Pate have recorded a new version of one of the better songs on the album. All done with analog equipment in Atlanta, GA. Single takes. No overdubs. One instrument at a time. Enjoy!
